Neymar Jr recalled for Brazil’s 2018 World Cup qualifiers
Brazilian super star Neymar Jr. has been recalled for Brazilian squad for the World Cup 2018 qualifiers. Brazil are to play Argentina and Peru next month. The Brazilian team had to play the previous two qualifiers against Chile and Venezuela without their ace Neymar Jr. And the team has had mixed results in the qualifiers so far. Brazil suffered a loss against Chile by 2 goals to nil. And won their qualifier against Venezuela by 3 – 1. The team would be looking forward to have Neymar Jr. back in the squad for the much awaited and highly competitive match against Argentina. Brazil and Argentina have always had a rivalry in football and the have produced some amazing matches.
Argentina would be playing without their star Lionel Messi and this surely gives Brazil an advantage, especially with Neymar Jr. back in their ranks. Neymar has been performing really well for his club side in Spain and if the striker is able to replicate the same form for his National side, Brazilian fans are surely in for a treat. Currently Brazil are placed 5th in the group which is a playoff spot. The team would be looking to finish within first 4 spots in order to make sure automatic qualification.
