Neymar unveils new Nike boots tailored to his style
It’s been nearly a month so Nike have finally rolled out a brand new pair of fantastic custom boots for Neymar, and these latest pair of specially designed shoes are certainly what you might call ‘eye-catching’.
Inspired by what has been told is Neymar’s personally preferred mantra, the vibrant boots have been skillfully designed by renowned Brazilian artist Bruno Carneiro Mosciaro, who also goes by the professional name Bruno Big.
“I created two different images, one for ‘Ousadia’ and one for ‘Alegria,’” Bruno waffled.
“There is a heart and there is a hand, so the idea is intended to be more graphic than a direct message. That is the interesting point of it.”
The boots have been designed with the inspiration from a tattoo which reportedly features on Neymar’s calves.
As per the statement from Nike blurb, while the graphic is deliberately abstract, the placement is absolutely purposeful. On the “Ousadia” boot, fingers wrap around noticeably as if holding it. On the “Alegria” boot though, the fist is centred precisely where it will make physical contact with the ball.
The name of the boots roughly translates to “daring” and “joy” respectively, which Nike say define Neymar’s playing characteristics and also his personal mantra.
Renowned Brazilian artist Bruno Big himself designed the boots and was soley responsible for the flamboyant graphics featured on all the sides.
Big created two images, a heart for the ‘Ousadia’ and a hand for ‘Alegria’, which have been brilliantly expanded across the face of the boots.
In addition to the unveiling of the new pair of football boots, Nike and Neymar have also created a pair of sportswear shoes, in the incredible form of the Nike Free Hypervenom 2.
Like the new set of “Ousadia Alegria” boots, the sneakers feature Bruno Carneiro Mosciaro’s allover splendid graphic atop the upper, with translucent Nikeskin structure on the quarter and foxing panels, and a Nike Free outsole that is helpful for enhanced flexibility.
