Neymar Jr. who is one of the greatest footballers of the generation will be working with WWF. The goal is to save the future of one of the greatest wildernesses of the planet. Neymar Jr. has signed with the WWF to support the cause of saving the Amazon in his native Brazil.

Neymar will be recording a special message for the Amazon day on 5th September. The message will be in support of the Amazon. It will highlight the importance of the rain forest and why it must be protected.

Amazon Rain forest has huge significance for life on planet Earth. The rain forest is home to millions of species of animals and plants. The rain forest also plays a critical role in controlling the climate change. However Amazon faces the challenges of deforestation and land grabbing for the purpose of agriculture. This collaboration between Neymar Jr. and WWF is a major step in raising awareness about the Amazon and for its protection.

According to Henrique Lian who is the superintendent of external relations and public policy of WWF in Brazil, WWF believes that this partnership will bring visibility and will highlight the importance of Amazon for Brazil as well as the whole world.
