PSG targeting Neymar Jr and Cristiano Ronaldo transfer
In case PSG star Zaltan Ibrahimovic leaves the club next summer, the club will have a huge gap to fill. And according to reports Paris Saint-Germain are planning to fill this gap by a hyped Cirstiano Ronaldo or Neymar Jr. transfer. It has been reported that Ibrahimovic might be considering a move to Major League Soccer. His contract with PSG will expire at the end of this season. In order to bring in new strikers to the club who can guarantee successful seasons ahead, the club will be looking to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr. and Robert Lewandowski.
In case Ibrahimovich leaves the club, it would be a big task for Paris Saint-Germain to fill the gap in their striker force. As the player has been remarkable at PSG after his move from Milan. Comparing the stats of this season Ibrahimovich has scored 7 goals in 7 matches and provided 3 assists. The player has produced 1.6 key passes per game. On the other hand Cristiano Ronaldo has also scored 7 goals in 7 matches and has provided 2 assists. Ronaldo has produced 1.7 key passes per game. Neymar Jr. is ahead of the two with 8 goals in 8 games and 3 assists. When it comes to key passes Neymar has provided a remarkable 3.5 key passes per game.
The stats clearly show that Neymar Jr and Cristiano Ronaldo will be great replacements for Ibrahimovich. However the price tag associated with the two player will be huge. Neymar Jr. does have the benefit of being only 23 years of age. This means that the player has a number of years ahead and his peak years are likely ahead of him. Unlike Cristiano Ronaldo who has already seen his peak years.
A move of Neymar Jr. to Paris Saint-Germain is highly unlikely but it would be interesting to see how the club pursues the speculated move in case of the departure of Ibrahimovich from the club.
